About the Project
Temi Oni is a Nigerian-American R&B/Soul artist based in Lagos whose music explores womanhood, individuality, self-love, and personal expression. Her 2025 EP, ME TIME, marked a significant step in her evolution as a solo artist, building on years of songwriting and performance to establish a fuller expression of her sound and identity. Adaptive Atelier led PR and artist positioning around the release, with the goal of positioning Temi not simply around a new music project, but as an artist with a distinct voice, identity, and place within Nigeria’s contemporary music landscape. We developed an executive-style positioning approach around her story and creative direction, while building the visibility strategy for ME TIME. The campaign included planning and executing the EP listening party, coordinating an executive photoshoot, and driving media outreach around the release. We secured coverage across Zikoko, Marie Claire, and other relevant media platforms, creating visibility for both the project and Temi as an emerging artist with a strong point of view.
Positioned ME TIME as more than an EP, building a wider narrative around womanhood, motherhood, identity, and self-expression.
Positioned Temi as an artist with a distinct voice, connecting her personal experiences to the themes explored through her music.
Built editorial narratives around her story, giving Temi space to speak authentically about motherhood, her return to music, and her creative evolution.
Secured features across Zikoko and Marie Claire Nigeria, placing Temi and ME TIME within relevant conversations around music, culture, and women’s experiences.
