To mark its 20th anniversary, Adaptive Atelier transformed two decades of the brand’s work into an immersive digital archive, combining luxury-grade UX, editorial storytelling, seamless search and discovery, and integrated WhatsApp commerce.

About the Project

Lisa Folawiyo is a pioneering Nigerian luxury fashion house celebrated for its hand embellishment, beadwork, and modern interpretation of African craftsmanship. To celebrate 20 years of the brand, Lisa Folawiyo staged an exhibition and runway presentation honouring its legacy, creating an opportunity to bring two decades of its design history into a new digital experience. Adaptive Atelier was tasked with translating this milestone into a fully immersive digital archive. We designed the UX system around an archive-first experience, bringing together iconic pieces from SS05 to SS23 within a clean, luxury-led digital environment. The experience was designed to make discovery intuitive for collectors and fashion audiences globally, with integrated search, filtering, storytelling, QR codes, and WhatsApp commerce woven into the wider exhibition and shopping journey. Rather than presenting the archive as a catalogue of past collections, we treated each piece as a collector’s item with its own digital presence, context, and heritage story. The result was a more considered digital experience that celebrated Lisa Folawiyo’s legacy while creating a seamless bridge between the brand’s history, its physical exhibition, and opportunities for global discovery and conversion.
